Wine is pretty easy with or without kits. I used one kit in my 7 yrs of making wine. I have made Peach, Strawberry, Muscadine, blackberry, Blueberry, plum, and most recently Raspberry. Not hard at all. In fact, the worst batch was made with a kit. But it will floor you if you aren't careful. Mine ends up to be almost 25% alcohol, but my wife drinks it all up pretty quickly. I make 5-8 Gal at a time. I need to get some Muscadines before I can't find them. If you have any questions about it, PM me, I will help with what I can. As for the beer, I have done one batch in my Mr. Beer kit. turned out ok, but want to try making it from Grain.
