Pink taurus m24/7 for my wife....

Is anyone familiar with the Taurus M24/7 in .40 caliber. My wife insists on having a pink weapon for personal use. She like my xd40 but admitts that the recoil is a little much for her(it takes her to long to get back on target). I can't find a range in my area the has this particular gun to rent so I can let her try it out. We looked at the taurus 738, but I am afraid the recoil will be too much in that small of a frame for her. Any suggestions?

Why does it have to be .40? .40SW is snappy in any gun. If she finds it excessive in an XD, she will certainly think the same of the Taurus. You can also go with the option of Duracoating if you find a gun she likes but isn't pink.

Perhaps the 9mm would be a better option... my wife would certainly not enjoy the .40. She has a 738 and it's quite reliable, but she shoots my 9mm guns better than anything. CDNN usually has the pink Taurus models for good price.

Yeah a friend of mine has a 738 and i was going to get together with him and let her shoot it. I have thought about duro-coating. And no I I don't know why pink. She saw a pink walther P22 when we were at the range one day and that is all I have heard for the last 6 months. I am thinking about getting me a 738 as a concealed weapon.

Good luck finding a 24/7 in 9mm in pink. I have been looking for at least 2 months. Like you seem to have found out the only ones out there are 40 S&W. I have finaly decided to go ahead and get what she wants in any color we can find. If she wants it pink I can coat it.

My wife loves my 24/7 in 9mm. She shoots it extremely well. It is the OSS DS model with the 5.25" barrel. She wants one with the 4" barrel so she can carry it easier.

Thanks... I am not dead set on a .40 but I have 2 and just less ammo to store. I have been thinking about getting me a .380 or compact 9mm for a pocket weapon and if I do I may get her a pink taurus 738 to satisfiy the pink qualification.
