seems that this domain name was hosted by godaddy.com and for some reason they did not like the publicity that the site was getting. there is an article up about it at http://www.dslreports.com/shownews/GoDaddy-Pulls-Plug-On-CopRating-Website-92554

and since he changed domain name providers, the site has been getting hammered with visitors. hes getting alot of free publicity and that poor server cant handle the load.

i checked the site out and it looks to be pretty interesting, its just under a hell of a client load right now so i will look at it around 3am when there is not that much traffic.

What's the point? Can't see a lot of positives coming from this or the other sites like it. IMO it's the downside to the internet. A place for unsubstantiated allegations by anonymous people - both good and bad.

I reject the premise for some of these ideas that the police have to be kept in check in this manner. Most of these people want total "freedom" (read no accountability) yet demand to be as invasive as they like into everybody else's business. Kinda do as I say not as I do thing.

Yes there needs to transparency, just don't think this is the right way to foster goodwill on either part. Rant over.

I've always found the professors site pretty useful

I used the one for high school teachers as well when it first started up.

Interesting site if they had anything in it. I tried Dyer, Madison and Shelby county, no officers in it.
