HR4646 anyone heard of it??

I received an email speaking of this, HR4646, supposedly it is a 1% tax on basically all bank deposit transactions that will go in effect in Jan.2012.

I thought some of you may be up on this is it is true.

How about it? Anyone know anything about it?

Snopes is your friend

To a point. They're a pretty left wing oriented outfit. Some of their "facts" regarding some issues are obviously quite slanted.

Agreed, but they do generally present the facts. Their analysis is often questionable.

Thanks folks! I knew I would get the low down on this from yall!

Next time I will check snopes for myself, the email I got showed copied text from snopes but not all of it....
