I'm not particularly interested in pistols. I'm proficient with them for sport and protection. And of course I do what I do for a living . Just not my thrill in life. I am however always interested in historical handguns and old handguns in general really. Larry Vickers just had an episode on TV about german handguns and this was on it. I can't wait to go and shoot this thing!!

This was hiding down the road in "grandmas closet". It may be ugly but I like it! Not real sure what the "gun world" thinks of them. Larry and pal seemed to like it.

FB RADOM VIS mod 35 with all the Nazi markings.

Sorry I don't have better photos and skills.

Based off of similar ones selling on GB'r these specific spots are highlighted/referenced in those sales. Again I'm not the authority on pistols. I fix em but am not a historian on them. The top right spot is the eagle. I'm not too sure what the other images are. Kind of look like the two lightning bolt marks or the SS looking symbol to me.

If someone knows something about these feel free to enlighten us and correct me. I won't be offended. I only did a brief Google search on this pistol.

Not mine. Wish it was. At least I get to play with it for a minute or two.

And for pictures....I could care less. I'm no photographer and don't wish to be.

Based off of one of those links I'd say this one is a grade III or like the other poster said, grade four. For this one has no safety other than the grip safety. Its a bit of a rough finish, heavy tooling marks, etc.

I've seen and handled a few Vis 35 pistol's, the one you've shown is a later issue model due to the absence of the side frame safety. However, the polish and finish are much nicer than one's produced at the end of the war. The only problem with these fine pistol's in the 1970's when you could often find one in a gun store was the difficulty in finding extra or replacement mags for them. Many of the pistols were produced by slave labor and are unsafe due to intentional sabotage.
