Online Buying

I had been thinking of buying some weapons from Davidsons, but before I did I looked at their prices, estimated taxes and shipping, and added local dealers charges for transferring it to me and discovered I'm just as well off buying at a local dealer. This surprised me since I had been hearing nhow great the prices were at Davidsons Gallery of Guns.

davidson is probably the highest price around, you can find them for much less at a local dealer. i use them for a guide and shop locally.

The only reason I have ever bought online is if there was a particular gun I couldn't get locally, or if I could catch a steal on gunbroker.com.

Otherwise... paying an extra $10-$50 locally is worth the service, plus trade-ins are more convenient.

Online works good for out of production or older guns like on gun broker. For most anything new a good local shop will be pretty close after you add up shipping, transfer fee etc.. If there is a specific gun I am looking for I will always ask my local dealer if he can get it.
