I didn't even make it out today. Was working on my powder horns and bullet boards. I'll get out this weekend when all the Ya'hoos have had enough!

Went to a twra hunt today, it was horrible. Came away with 14 doves out of the 50 that flew in today. There were more people than dove.

Dang it , you good shots are out there. No offense for those shells that did not go off , or just didn't get taken out of the steel box strong hold for 15 years like some of mine.

I took my daughter and her friend to the leased field in Robertson Co. I fired all of 8 shells. I killed two birds. The girls fired about 6 shells between them. It was slow. It was also hot. I am supposed to take a couple more kids on Saturday, but I won't unless things improve. We had fun anyway. The kids enjoyed laying out of school and I enjoyed laying out of work. :)

I chose not to BB gun any of the hundred or so that show up daily on my back deck here near town. B)

I think they're becoming more of an urban/suburban species, learning from the pigeons!

I finally made it out for the first time today and me and my buddy were out for about 2 hours and only saw about 5 doves. Does anyone know of any decent fields in knoxville? We went to one of the TWRA fields and there was millet, sunflowers, etc everywhere but no doves.
