Basically some people feel a bit uncomfortable carrying in public when they first start. One way to get more comfortable is simply doing it....most people go to Wal-Mart on a fairly regular basis. So there ya go.... It's just a way to start getting used to carry around a bunch of people and although you think they all know you are carrying....you'll find none (usually) actually will.

Yep. Walmart has a nationwide policy about handgun carry... they go with the local laws. EVERBODY can find the nearest Walmart. It's a perfect proving ground.

Big store, lots of people, everyday shopping/routine type of thing. It's a common enough place because there's a Wal-Mart not far from pretty much everybody. I suppose you could do a Bi-Lo walk instead, but it just doesn't have the same ring to it now does it? Besides, no Bi-Lo's in some parts of the country either.

Just make sure you don't dress up like Rambo when you do decide to do your Wally Walk
