This morning I woke up early just so I could go take a nap on the deck

Is there anything better in life then taking a nap in the middle of the day? I thinks not!

I nap nearly every day. Nothing wrong with a mid afternoon nap, especially during a good rain.

My 65 year old dad calls them his baby nap, my neighbor (retired Navy) calls it his combat nap, I call it lucky to get one.

That's me for sure. I fall asleep while watching baseball only to awake to bitch at my wife for changing the channel. "I was watching that".

My buddy Darold where I used to work is a napaholic..turn around & he's 'resting' his eyes in the foldin chair. He would straighten things at work on the bottom shelf..(he's 6'5" 275lbs. "Gotta get off these knees") he'd be real thorough bout gettin that bottom shelf tidied up. Get a kinda eyeball view make sure it was lined up right ya know. 10min later.."where's D?" Across the buildin straightenin some bottom shelf but snoring for some reason. Makes me so jealous. I can rarely nap. An attempted fully clothed 30min power nap turns into a 4hr sleep without feelin rested. Of course I'm lazy to sleep a total of 6hrs a day so that 4hr intermission really zings my schedule :-(

Me too.....I use to not take naps during the day, but now there's nothing like it, especially on Saturday or Sunday afternoon when you have nothing to do.......or should I say - nothing you want to do! My dad would say he's watching TV with his eyes closed......
