cheapest places to shoot near nashville?

I've just moved to Nashville after spending some time in a far away country with no guns. I'm desperate to hit the range, but cash-strapped, as always. I've got handguns, a rifle, and a shotgun which are all itching to be shot. What's the cheapest decent range near Nashville where I can shoot some or all of these types of weapons?

Thanks!

I have never seen them check them but you can sometime run into some squirrels at Cheatham and sometimes it is a nice range all to yourself.

Thanks for the tips! With places like stones river, i assume I need to bring my own paper targets? Are reactive targets permitted? As someone who has mostly only shot indoors, what is the etiquette for going downrange to retrieve or replace a paper target?

There was an indoor where I used to live where you could shoot handguns, and then pay an extra fee to go to the rifle range and shoot smaller (223 in my case) rifles and shotguns with certain loads... that's what I was hoping for...

I just want to give a HUGE shoutout to stones river. I've never shot anywhere for less than $12-15 bucks or so, and usually there are a bunch of headcases making me uncomfortable. All of the staff at stones river were super friendly, plenty of open lanes, no trouble keeping my brass, and its a pretty nice range to boot. So thanks for the referral. I will definitely be back there again!

Guns and Leather in Hendersonville/Greenbrier for $10 for as long as you wish to stay. Also a great store with great prices, bought both of my Glocks there.

+1 for StonesRiver on the rifle side. I'm still not comfortable with the way the handgun side is setup, but I'll go occasionally, like this afternoon.

About 45 minutes south of downtown is CHMR. It's a $40 membership for a year. You can go every day that they're open all day long and you're still only out $40 for the whole year. It doesn't get cheaper than that and you'll never find a nicer guy than Charlie who owns and operates it. Middle TN TGO meets are often held there. It is good for rifle. He even has a couple of clay throwers setup for shotgun. There is also a small handgun pit. Rifle distances are set at 25y, 50y, and 100y. I hear he's working on some 200y lanes, but I don't know if those are finished yet.

CHMR

Guns and Leather in Greenbrier has a computer controlled indoor handgun range (5 lanes) with lots of programmable modes. I think it's $15 for an hour. They also have 5 lanes of just motorized target clips (the regular indoor range stuff) for $10 an hour. the Hendersonville store doesn't have the computer control if that's important to you.

For shotgun, nothing beats the setup at TN Clay Target Complex. But it's not cheap.

CHMR has two pistol lanes in their own "dugout," with I think a 15 or yard maximum. On the rifle side they have about 15 lanes with target frames as far as 100 yards. Charlie also provides water on hot days, coffee on cold ones, spotting scopes, sand bags, a bench rest or two. The "private" side of the range, behind Charlie's house, has five more lanes for shooting out to about 25 yards, plus the clay throwers. He hasn't completed the long range lanes yet because he is waiting for a part that has been promised to him numerous times.

As far as I know he won't accept money for your wife or kids to shoot.

For reference, the address is 2795 Owl Hollow Road, Franklin, TN.
