Hello all - I have a milled AK that I am changing thestock to pistol grip. I have some US parts but need a pistol grip and to changethe trigger set to be 922 r compliant. I have not seen any current posts on whothe go to smith is in Nashville. I am looking for someone knowledgeable on theAKs and I am very particular about the quality of workmanship and I'llappreciate any guidance. Thanks in advance!

In my experience there aren't any in Nashville that know much about AK smithing. That being said, anything you need done is VERY easy to do yourself. Just let us know what you need specifically and many can walk you through it. You can also bring it by D&T and I'd be more than happy to show you in person.

I'm not sure how the internals differ between stamped and milled receivers, but if you're just swapping parts, it's so easy an inbred Russian peasant could do it. :pleased:

Thank you for the information and encouragement. I drive by D&T Arms on the way home from work the many nights the I 65 is jacked up. I may take you up on the offer - be a good excuse to see your store.
