Ok, so i just got my Colt Defender .45 100 years of service model, this is gonna be my everyday carry so i wanna go crazy with the customizations.. If you have any ideas for grips, sights, and just general things I can have done to make this thing one of a kind please let me know.. I'm kinda new to all of this stuff but I wanna learn as much as possible so any advice would be great.. If you have a custom defender please post some pics, also would like to know of some good holsters and where to buy.. thanks in advance for your help...icon6.png

One of the best mods i did was install a Smith and Alexander magwell extension on my Para Carry 45. Ordered it from Brownells, i think. Feels fantastic with the round A2 hump. They make flat ones too.

DP means Double Post. It means you posted the same thread in two different forums... usually considered spamming and is frowned upon. In the future just make one post in the relevant forum and you'll be good.

(not getting on your case, just giving you a heads up since you seem to be new here)

Yeah I did a DP on accident and couldn't delete it.. I think if it was spam it would be some kind of advisement but obviously it's a legitimate question.. Thank for all your help, calling me out about my DP will for sure push me in the right direction on how I wanna customize my pistol..

Sweet, Now you need a nice holster.

I would leave it just like it is. Or, swap out that 3 hole trigger for one that has no holes, swap out the grip safety for one with a bit more up sweep (for comfort), checker the front strap to match the lpi of the mainspring housing, cratex bit the feed ramp and dump about 400 rounds thru it to break it in. Then contemplate installing an extended thumb safety, some DIY Duracoat, selling the ctc grips and getting some really tacky fake ivory confederate flag topless lady grips...
