How long of a wait?

Did my registration for my carry permit last Thursday, and got the fingerprinting done last Saturday. My class instructor said that it would take about three months to receive my permit, then guy taking the prints said about three weeks, and I read someone here state 17 days. That got me excited, needless to say.

How long did it take you to receive yours after registration and printing?

Times really vary. Number to process, time of the month, and general attitude of the state workers on any given day, seem to be a few of the variables involved.

I applied in early June. The permit arrived 14 days later. I swear, the wait at the DMV took longer.

I took my HCP class a month or so ago, my wife and I went to the DMV on the 11th of August... We then drove out to Goin' Postal in Old Hickory and I was fingerprinted (she was just taggin along, still haven't convinced her to carry yet). So this thursday will be 2 weeks for me... I'm hoping/expecting to get it next week (maybe the 1st?) If not the week after.

Wow! It like took like 4 weeks for mine to come in.

I too am in middle TN.....It took 12 days from fingerprinting for me, and that included the July 4th holiday.
