Anyone else use this service? I'm thinking of getting into it, but I don't know anyone with first-hand experience.

I tried it for a month, they had a free month thing going on. It wasn't bad. I didn't have a whole lot of time to play at the time though so I didn't really get to see how good it was. The month flew by before I knew what happened lol.

they may still have some kind of free month thing going on, you should look around and see if they do.

My wife and I have used gamefly for a couple of years. 3 games out for $25/month. It allows us both to check out a lot of different games for 360, ps3, wii and ds. It has it's ups n downs. I miss out on a lot of the exclusive content I used to get by pre-order or reserves, but those never make or break the game. It's also no guarantee that you get the newest games when they release. I've only had one occurrence when they actually shipped me a new release on it's launch day. Other than that I enjoy the convenience of mailing it back on my schedule and saving a little scratch.

We have it for our 14 yr old son. That kid was plating games that were bought new in about a week he said he "beat them" and "needed" a new one every week or so. Bam. GAMEFLY. great solution. They don't turn them around quite as quickly as Netflix but darn near. He's happy and we're happy.

Haven't tried gamefly but you might consider trying redbox. For $2.00 I was able to let my daughter try out a $50.00 wii game she wanted to buy. After 15 minutes she decided she didn't like it. Saved $48.00 right there.

I've used it off and on for the past few years. It's really a great service, and their ship times are alot better now than they used to be. I have the bad habit of playing a game, then keep forgetting to send it back for a month or two and in that respect I'm not saving much. HOWEVER, I more than make up for it in buying used game off them. They have some smokin deals alot of the times on used games. More than made up for it buying those.
