Trouble when using Firefox 6.0?

Recommended Posts

I just updated to Firefox 6.0 and don't seen to be loading graphics properly. I've seen this with a couple other sites today as well so I don't think it's TGO related as much as Fire fox related. Anyone else seeing anything like this? I did try reloading it. No difference.

Might have an addon that isn't working quite right with FF6. I'd try running Firefox with addons disabled to see if that helps pin down the problem.

I did try disabling all add-ons. Still didn't work. I get text and banners. Nothing else. I rolled it back to an earlier version of Firefox and now it's working. Now, to see what happens when I update.

Ran through the updates from the earlier version and all is now well. Computers. I sometimes wish it were 1960 again.

Thanks all for the advice and feedback. I may not be a frequent poster but I still spend some time here nearly every day. Hate for my browser to interfere with that. As I'm sure I must have heard some important and well known somebody once say...a day without TGO is like a day without coffee. Or something along those lines.

Not experiencing any problems similar to yours; however, my FF6.0 (On Windows7) did crap up yesterday and it wouldn't shut down. I had to shut it down with the Task Manager each time. I just downloaded FF6.0 from the Mozilla web site and installed it over the existing FF6 on my PC and problem was solved.

Good luck
