I moved over to Chattanooga a month or two ago to open this store and it's finally time. We let the first customers in yesterday around 1:15 and will be in "soft opening" mode through wednesday. We will then have the grand opening at 3 pm on thursday.

Store is located on Shallowford rd just of 75. there is a traffic light that isnt on yet, but will be turned on thursday morning - take a left there.

If anyone comes in please stop and say hi. Just ask for Adam Bailey (sales manager). I will also make sure to take good care of forum memebers if there is anything you want to purchase.

My sister just bought a washer, dryer, fridge and dishwasher from the HH Gregg in Cool Springs. If the one in Chattanooga is like the Franklin store, they had the best prices and service she could find. Good luck w/ the Chattanooga store...

not sure what you were looking at, but we are extremely competitive and have a price guarantee, even for 30 days after you buy. There are a lot of models we carry that are a step above the competition and that might be where the confusion was, but we usually have the same ones as well.

We are kinda like CC and BB, but without DVD's, CD's, or video games and a much larger selection of video, and a huge assortment of appliances.

I dunno, we shopped around for my sister at Lowe's, Home Depot, Sears, Sears Scratch & Dent Outlet, HH Gregg and Best Buy. HH Gregg by and far had the best prices and were willing to match and take coupons in addition to any rebates. We didn't bother checking any mom and pop places. One thing worth noting, my sister had purchased a $1200 fridge and apparently they had an inventory glitch and oversold that model and were OOS in the warehouse when it came time for hers to be delivered. They upgraded her to an $1800 model for free. I thought that was pretty impressive customer service. Anyways, I have no affiliation with HH Gregg, I just like to give a positive review if I am happy with a particular retail establishment (which is becoming rare these days with the oversight of customer service in so many various stores).

I mean no offense to my comment...Dont get me wrong, the store is nice here in knoxville, but its just seems that some of the things such as computer accessories are little bit higher than the other stores, and im talking about same brands, but I didnt know that you could get hhgregg to match the prices of other stores...i'll do that when I go there again.

None taken...I've honestly never looked at HH Gregg for anything other than appliances. I shop online most of the time anyways.
