Is it just my perspective, or did it look like he fired awfully close to the mom and her little girl? Scary situation!

thats what i was thinking :)

The guy in the video is a member on GlockTalk I believe and he said that the camera messes up the perspective and the mom and the girl were no where near his line of fire, otherwise he wouldn't have taken the shot.

Unlike in the movies, the bullets don't swerve around at random. I applaud the guy for taking the shots. You have to go with the possibilities you have. He clearly had a good angle on the first shots and also obviously was aware of the position of the customer and kid for the second round of shots.

You are never likely to have a perfectly clear shot.

What kind of business was that? Any word on whether or not he hit the perp? Looked like he did.

I saw this a few weeks ago on one of those "incredible videos" type shows. It was a motel, and yes the perp was hit but unfortunately survived if memory serves.

All I gotta say is...."That was AWESOME" I hope if in a similar situation I would have the same composure and aim. I believe with the shots he fired that he was skilled and cognisant enough to make that close call. Wish the BG woulda stayed for a few more rounds.
