3-Gun Shooters.

I am sending this out to apologize for the failure of our 3-gun Match Director to be on site when some of you showed up for the July match.

Henry County Gun Club prides itself on providing a quality shooting experience for its’ members and guests and this failure on our part to have a Match Director on site to run the match announced on this website is an embarrassment to us and our members. We have cancelled 3-gun matches for now until we can assure you that this will not happen again. Please accept our apology for this mistake and be assured that if we start up 3-gun matches again, a Match Director will be on site when you arrive.

Additionally, we also have IDPA matches every second Saturday year round except October when we have our KY-TN IDPA Regional on the first Saturday in October. I am the Match Director for these matches and we shoot regardless of the weather. My mantra is “If I can get there, we will shoot†and so far we have not missed a day since I have been running the matches. We have shot in some miserable weather, but we shoot regardless. If you are interested in IDPA come out and shoot with us. Unless the roads are to dangerous to drive on, someone will be there to run the IDPA match every month.

We aslo have registered Trap shoots, 100, 200 and 600 yard ranges, long range rifle matches, Appleseed shoots, & Rimfire Bench Rest and are currently working on developing occasional Kimber 82G matches.
