Local reloaders supply shop. You get hit with a minimum 20 dollar haz mat shipping charge when you order powder or primers through the net. I buy from the Reloaders Bench in Mt. Juliet.

I, mostly, get my stuff from Midsouth Shooters Supply in Clarksville. Tuesday thru Friday you can call in a order and pick up about 2 hours later. Saves a lot on shipping and haz-mat fees.

Clarksville is closer than Mt. Juliet, but I'm in both areas every few months. How cheap do they get when you start buying 10-100k? CCI or Winchester or priced equiv.

I'm new to reloading and picked a fellows entire inventory up, but I have more brass and bullets than primers. Is their a decent primer mfg that is inexpensive to go with. Everything I received was Winchester, but I've seen other brands online.

I like Federal and never had a problem with them. Most major brands are good. It's like cars and trucks, some like one brand and some like another.

Reloaders Bench sells Winchester small pistol primers for 26.99 \ 1000 i believe. Its either 26.99 or 24.99...i cant remember. Also a great place to buy your powder. Their gun prices are rather steep though.

If all you need is 1K, buy them from the local dealers. If you want to buy 50K check with Powder Valley Inc. on the internet. They will ship 48lbs of primers under one Hazmat fee. It will bring the price down to around $22 a thousand.

For 10-100K primers, I would guess that Powder Valley has the best deal for you on Wolf primers. http://www.powdervalleyinc.com/

5K Small Pistol primers = $90

90/5= $18 per K

If you are ordering 100K, I'm sure they could do even more for you.

Here's an unbiased review from another user on a different forum: http://smith-wessonforum.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/570103904/m/6951037882

Hope that helps!
