You guys are kidding right?

you know that the Glock 7 is fictional and doesnt really exist....

I've seen one!

...well, then again, it might have been a G27, since one of the chunks of the slide that had been blown off was where the '2' would have been. :P

(couldn't resist...)

I carry one clip with a 16 round capacity, there is a spare clip in the console of the truck. I am guessing if i ever need to shoot, all 16 rounds will be gone when I stop pulling the trigger as I am running in the other direction.

a mag is short for magazine which is a bunch of glossy papers stapled and folded in half with pictures and words and stuff

A "clip"is a "magazine" for those or us who honor those who served and fought for us previous to Vietnam. They still call them "clips" -- so they are.

I defer to them.:)

Actually, I just call it a clip to irritate the grammar police on the board. :D

But every veteran I know from WWII or Korea does call it a clip. I do not correct them, but I do call it a magazine when I'm talking with them. Here on the board, I think I'll continue to call it a clip for a while, just to raise the blood pressure of the anal retentive. :D

On another front, most of the cavalry reenactors I know think they are Calvary reenactors. That always crucifies me.

Why do so many assume that the only reason to carry a spare mag is in case the shooter runs out of ammo?

I use mine to keep my car from rolling backwards cause my emergency brake broke....hehehehe...KIDDING

I don't really care who calls them what. All I know is that every firearm manufacture's owners manual that I have read calls them a magazine, but I'm not going to critize or be anal because someone prefers to shorten the verbiage a little. The english language is so broad spread now days, proper english is almost a thing of the past. I myself talk slang more than proper english. Sue me......;)
