I own 2 10/22s one that I have put some after market parts on and it will drive nails at fifty yards! the other one I have is target model that shoots almost as good as the first with a little trigger work! I have a henry hoo1t on order so I'm not to sure about it until i get to shoot it. for a 10/22 out of the box for around $200 you really can't go wrong! later down the road with a new drop in hammer I think you would be very pleased.

I'm voting Marlin 795,why? Because that's the only .22 I own and its an awesome .22 may not have the accessories like the 10/22 but its cheaper and has a last shot bolt open which is pretty cool for a .22. I've heard the 795 is a bit more accurate than the 10/22 but I haven't confirmed it myself and well of course the gun is only as accurate as the shooter but anyway I vote the 795.
