I have an AR pistol with a 7.5 in barrel I think I am going to let go in the next couple of weeks, I have only shot it very little and it has proven to be very reliable never missing a lick. I am wondering if the AK pistols are as reliable and function as well as the AR does, I think I may end up purchasing a Draco and maybe going the SBR route with it in the future. Does anyone out there have any experience with lots of shooting a Draco? I am looking for any info I can get I have never pulled the trigger on one myself but I am intrigued. How do the AK Pistol variants stack up after 5000 rounds, heck how do they do in the first 1000?

I do not have a round count but my plr 16 just keeps going and going, Im sure its over 1k by a decent margin. It hates my reloads -- something is STILL slightly out of spec somewhere --- but it eats brass factory ammo all day long (manual says stick to brass so I do). Its accurate and probably useful out to 100-200 yards (depending on the ammo). For a cheap gun, it has been amazing.

Adding the hogue p grip , the tapco slant brake , and the few day consuming sand , stain and polyurethane .

Will post before and aft pics in 24 hours. Might have to buff the carrier before I post.......

You have to sand then cut yourself to get the real Russian red , right ? You have to Poly then sand then Poly again , it looks so good the first time that the sand paper makes your "nose" shrink while sanding ; you get it. Anyways tomorrow afternoon I should have a finished pic other than the bolt carrier polish if i can't meet my deadline.

If only big white T's on stocks were cool at the range .....and I could shoot it every time they scored !!! That is how I do my Florida fans next-door , some type of explosion each time TN scores ; normally M-80's.

Don't forget the UT orange... :D

Nice job on that refinish. I would have kept the wooden pistol grip in the same color just for looks, but you cant beat that black grooved one for function.
