Who all watched the game? What did you think? Who impressed you most?

I was especially impressed with Jake Locker. Ability to move in the pocket. Able to make throws under pressure. 7 for 10 on passing. Best start by a Titan first round draft pick QB.

And Matt Hasselbeck is going to make the transition to Jake Locker so much easier. Other than his one clumsy handoff that caused a fumble (that will get ironed out before the season starts), his performance was exactly what we need.

Thoughts?

I thought they played like a different team, O wait they are a different team!

With that said they looked good with what I could see but ya know it is preseason.

New coaches + hungry players (minus CJ, but we won't get into that) = a great season in the makings.

The 1st string offense only played one possession. Locker was playing against backups, and a very basic defensive scheme. Don't get me wrong he looked good and had a passer rating of 144, but this isn't a true gauge of how good or bad the Titans are.

I thought that was all common knowledge, and Locker IS a backup. of course it's not a true gauge, but neither Hasselbeck nor Locker s*** themselves so compared to VY's first appearance, I'd say that's a good start.

I never said it wasn't common knowledge. I'm just saying that this game really hasn't showed us anything about Locker.

Oh, and I've always thought that VY was waaaaaaay overrated.
