Good luck dealing with Botach. Hopefully your experience will be different than that of many others on TGO.

I have had miserable luck with Botach. Now I will give them the benefit of the doubt because mine was a number of years ago.

First was an order for a holster and a few other items. Got billed for the items, received an email comfirming my order. Next day received an order stating the items had shipped. Two weeks later no items. I called and was told the items had been out of stock for a while. I asked about the shipping emails and was told they were automatically generated after the order was placed even if the items weren't in stock. I asked for a refund, had to call another number and wait a week for a refund.

Second time I was ordering tactical pants. I called to verify they were in stock. I had to call the warehouse to verify. I called and spoke to a supervisor who assured me that my size was in stock. While on the phone I submitted the order online. A week later I hadn't received the items so I called again. Was told that the pants had been out of stock for over 6 months. I asked about a refund expecting it to have billed already but they hadn't which was good.

After these two instances I was going to wave them off but ordered one more time.

I ordered some in stock items, according to their website. Then got an email stating the items were not in stock and unkown when they would arrive. I called and cancelled the order.

They do have some amazing deals from time to time but I got tired of placing an order then getting the big let down when the items never arrived.

This is basically what I've always heard about Botach, therefore I simply never even fooled with them and moved on. Sure, some of the deals are good from time to time but I just couldn't justify all of the trouble to save a few bucks. I've always felt that places like Midway and Brownell's do have their fair share of good deals at times as well, and I feel they give back so much more to the shooting sports.

I get the discount theough Brownells but Midway USA is even cheaper 75% of the time. The key to Midway is do a search for "Midway USA coupon code". They have codes almost ever month and with the codes Midway is generally cheaper. And that is without the FFL discount at Midway. It might be worth it for me to get a C&R license just for the savings as I order a lot.

Thats a great deal, but I prefer the Troy mags....they are the new flavor of the week ;-D

Don't rule out Lancers either, especially for the .458
