Recoil on the Govenor

Which caliber has the most recoil in the new Smith? The 45 acp, 45 colt or the 410? I have shot the acp through the Taurus 455 snub and it wasn't too bad. I am thinking of getting the Smith and shooting mostly 45 acp but could use the snak shot when I go horse riding in the mountains. Can someone give me info if they have shot all three calibers in this pistol?

Haven't shot the smith but my brother had a judge for a short while. The 45 LC recoiled the most, and we were only allowed to shoot slugs at the range we went to for when we did the 410. So I am sure snakeshot would recoil much much less.

I ran some round's through a Thunder Five eighteen or so year's ago and the .410 slug round had the most felt recoil. The .45ACP and .45 Colt weren't uncomfortable, as I recall.
