I wish I could help you. I used to play a mountain dulcimer, but not hammered. I want to though! I'm sure you could find some lessons on youtube.....

I do, Mine is a model: BFH

Nothing like the sound of the BFH.

Funny how problems seem to disappear with the sound of a BFH.

Kidding you.

I can't play any type musical instrument.

It is a beautiful looking and sounding instrument.

Maybe there is someone in your area that gives lessons? Dunno what books to look for.

If there was ever time, have thought about getting one because it isn't incredibly different than keyboards which is all I can play half-way respectable. Well, closer to a keyboard in the mountain music instrument family than banjo or fiddle anyway.

I usually just plink around on an instrument til it is kinda figured out, but that didn't work so well when I got a chromatic button accordion. That one was kinda difficult. Just knowing where all the notes are, didn't make it any easier to actually play the notes in a plausible fashion.
