Following suit from David and Elbow1's threads.

Anyone in the Franklin, Fairview or Dickson area interested in emergency preparedness discussions?

I'd like to do a little get together at Haffners range one sunday.

...much to discuss:)

Pick a date. We can reserve the private side behind his house.

Wonder what this costs?

Anyone serious about an early Sunday Morning, PM me what sunday would work best. Even if it's just a couple of us, I'd personally like to see this be a once a month kinda thing. Plus, if it's a regular thing, we can see who's serious and who's not.

Cost is $5 per person for non members and free for members. The bad thing is he books up pretty quick for the private side.

I've been a member for years. Best $40 a year I spend, I've never really thought about the private side. I guess I always assumed it was his personal range and was just off limits.

If this is done on a Sunday that I can be there I'm in..emergency preparedness is something that has not only be on my mind but something I've been actively working on. We aren't the only one's thinking this way either...alumni weekend at Tactical Response last month was ALL about disaster/emergency preparedness!

The only Sunday that would be difficult for me would be the 28th.

The upper range is for groups. I don't think there's an additional charge for it, just need to clear it with Charlie and reserve it.

$40 for a year.

$5 for non member per visit (must be with a member)

Early on a Sunday wouldn't work for me, but don't let that stop you from meeting. I'll just have to pass.

I would try to get there is it can be done in August. I have church obligations on Sunday mornings starting in September. If I can't attend it would be nice to hear as to what was discussed.

Any of you guys going to show up sunday that own a CZ 75 in 9mm, I'd be very much obliged if you'd bring it along. I'm going to be in the market for another 9x19 handgun and I'd sure like to try the CZ.

SO?!!!?? What's ya'll's excuse? Me and Bigwakes had a decent time, he brought a friend who will be signing up here TGO soon. Where in the heck were the rest of ya?

I would say it was a disappointment but Bigwakes is a super cool guy as was his buddy and it turned out to be a really fun day. Didn't get much done as far prepping discussions, but we did talk and get to know one another and burn some powder. I'm thinking this should be a regular thing, come join us.

Caster - nice to meet you this morning. Thanks for the extra ammo that you aren't using. Let's plan another get together sometime.

Well, we are certainly doing it again. I think next time we'll do a Sunday afternoon. Maybe around lunch or after. Much as I like the early AM, it'll be easier on the rest of you.

I'm free this weekend, but like Monkeylizard I'll need a little more advanced notice. If we could firm up some plans by, say, Tuesday or Wednesday I'd love to go.
