Bow Season

Recommended Posts

Well TGO friends, the food plots are being destroyed by deer and turkey. Portions of them need re-planted, which will be done this week. Turkey's are a real problem right now, and I am going to call TWRA tomorrow and see if I can get a "predation animal permit" to kill them, or get them to trap them, and get those "dirt peckers" off the property, as they are destroying my deer plots.

With bow season coming up, I have cleared shooting lanes, placed trail cams on trails and food plots, and located alternate stand sites.

What else do ya'll do, as part of your annual scouting routine?

Oh yeah, got my hide tanning set up, as I need some "buckskin" for blackpowder projects this year!
