20 members of US Navy Seal Team 6 dead. Same unit that got Bin Laden back at the beginning of May

Apparently the Taliban hit the Chinook with an RPG, the survivors got into a firefight that lasted about 2 hours, so far no details if the survivors wiped out the Taliban attackers or what.

this just sucks. It's the worst casualty count that Seal Team 6 has ever encountered in the history of the US Navy Seals.

god bless these men who have made the sacrifices that these men have. RIP.

According to CNN, none of the troops that took part in the OBL raid were on the chopper. (According to the gov't). SEAL death toll up to 22.
