I almost find it hard to believe she had time get 2 people with rifles willing to comment such a crime like that.

What I am saying I don't know if her phone call was to the 2 armed men. I would need to see the connection and evidence the DA is using to link the 2 events.

I know the shooting happened. I know she spanked the child. I just find it hard to believe 2 people would be willing to attempt comment mass murder to cover it up.

At least the child will be with obviously better people. Spanking aside I wouldn't want a child anywhere near a family like that.

I bet the women called and complained to her brother who in turned called up the shooters. Not sure if the women asked for the the brother to bring the shooters but at a minimum the brother and shooters should be charged. If she did ask for them then she as well as her brother should be charged with conspiracy to commit murder and the shooters cahrged with attempted murder. The degrees can be worked out later.

I read the defense attorney said the assault charges should be dropped, because they didn't hit anyone. I hope there is a special place in Hell for some of these defense attorneys.

Agreed.

It's ridiculous that a parent has to be afraid to disipline their own child in public nowadays. The child was obviously behaving badly, and all the mother did was pick him up and swat him on the butt... once.

Threatening to call child services was uncalled for. Some people need to learn to mind their own buisness and not stick their noses where it doesn't belong.

That said, the family quite obviously took things too far. I don't know what goes on in some people's heads nowadays, but what line of thought process do you have to have to conclude that it's a good idea to show up to a bus stop with guns and start shooting into a bus full of innocent people?

What if she punched the kid in the face? She was obviously crazy to start with. I think there is a place to "butt in", but not for a simple swat on the bottom.
