Kahr PM9 Mod

I've always loved my little Kahr PM9 but felt like they dropped the ball on the way the silver Mag hangs out of the bottom of the black body. It just looks sloppy to me. I'd post a finish photo if I could figure out how but basically what I did was to mask off the top half of each mag and spray the rest with Krylon semi gloss black paint. Now it looks much better to me. :)

I havent checked in for a while so this is a few days late but I have painted several guns parts with a rattle can, actually whole guns. I tend to go with the paint sold at TSC used for equipment if the metal surface of the part is prepped well it holds up almost as good as professional coating and if it flakes off sand it a little and spray it again. I have camo painted several whole guns also and the first one was not the best but there is a learning curve, the surface prep is the most important part you have to give the paint something to bind to and make sure the paint you use is made to withstand oil liemthe tractor/equipment paint at TSC. I know its just my 2 cents but it works for me and only costs a few bucks to paint more parts than you will ever want not a few hundred like having them coated.
