I wear my Chaco Z1 sandals most of the time. I can do just as well in those as I can any pair of shoes I own. If I die, at least I'll die comfortable. Besides, I kind of have some sexy feet and the zombies may just leave me alone because of it.

If that's you in your avatar, you may be right.

Hate flip-flops. Finally broke down a few months back and tried Crocs, love 'em. Camoflauge, BTW.

I ride my Harley to the office more times than not, but always wear proper riding boots and bring office shoes with me to change into. Just this morning on 40 W there was a guy on a bike and we're doing 80mph and he's wearing yellow flip flops.

We called sandals Jeruselem Cruisers.

On a serious note, a guy here in the office building I work in, actually owns the building, was taking his boat out of the water wearing his Crocs, hit the mossy concrete of the boat dock and went down, broke his arm. Crocks, when the sole is worn down, on wet slippery surfaces, is very dangerous. That's why I got rid of my previous pair, they were Airwalks. My new crocks are starting to wear in about a quarter of the time, I like the fit of the crocks, but the airwalks lasted way longer and were cheaper, but can't find them anymore.
