I had so many guns my wife didnt know about. I sold all but a few of em hired a private investigater and a good lawyer. I have 50/50 custody of our son and dont have to pay child support. Guns women dont know about can be an advantage but i still miss all those poor guns. I hope thier new owners are taking good care of em

Some things you just have to sneak in through the garage and admire in private.

The only gun purchases my wife knows about are the ones that she gifts to me. As long as I don't gripe about the shoes and purses she doesn't gripe about my guns.

Thanks for the input, not really having trouble figuring out what 1911 I want - just justifying buying one to the lady.

It is often necessary to buy a new 1911 every few months until the correct model is found. I may need another safe if I don't find the correct pistol soon.:D
