New From Clarksville

Good morning all.

My husband and myself are returning to gun ownership since our daughter is now an adult and we have more free time - and cash!

So far we've gotten him a Taurus .357 mag revolver, me a Heritage .22 revolver (.22 LR and .22 mag cylinders), a Harrington & Richardson Handi-rifle in .243, an S&W M&P 15 in .223 and a Ruger Model 10-22 with the collapsible stock.

This just started on Father's Day, so there will be more to come. He still needs a deer rifle. I'll be using the H&R. This will be my first time deer hunting - only way to get venison, and those darn things refuse to commit hari-kari and jump in my freezer.

Welcome. Awesome, there seem to be a bunch of us on here from Clarksville. It is great that both of you are getting back into guns. Have fun and enjoy. I know I do.

I want venison too. Need to go hunting this year. Though I say that every year but work never lets me have the free time.
