October Special Matches in Bowling Green, KY

Plan on being at the Green River Gun Club in Bowling Green, KY on October 22nd and October 29th for our annual special matches.

October 22:

Tactical Rifle Match

This is our annual big rifle match. Round count is 200. We use both ranges. Target engagement out to 200 yards.

October 29:

IDPA Pistol NIGHT MATCH

This is a five or six stage match shot after dark. Flashlights required.

Green River Gun Club

These only happen once a year so don't miss them.

This is just great. I am going to have to waste another Saturday shooting.

Rumor has it that Hognut may be shooting the match in pink Gore-Tex raingear.

So don't you train with weapons utilizing flashlight since being in SWAT. It will be nice to rack up another win at a night match. Against you the win will be sweeter. But don't you have a curfew? This is at night and I think your bed time is around 4 PM.

I am kind of scared of the dark so will most likely pass on the night match. The rifle match is a different story. I will try to be there for that. Most people shoot rifles better than they do handguns. You, however, are an anomaly. I just about have your Gore-Tex ready.

For the rifle match we will be awarding plaques for first, second, and third place finishers in both iron sight and optic divisions.

The range is dry with no rain in the forecast.

gary, it was a great match, for some reason we took the extra long way there so we were late and we never really got our head into the game.

anyway be sure to let the guys know that were in G. F. squad with us that i was serouis that if they do talk or order some ammo from Tactical Ammo (Heller enterpise) about ordering some ammo to ask for or say hi to the mean lady.

that way they know it was me who sent them that way.

Mr. Heller has been working on 128-130 PF 9mm for us, we tested about 3k so far and this week we are suppose get some 45 with a 170 PF.
