If the one of Son of Guns is anything to go by, that thing will need a serious cleaning. To bad it had been defaced.

I got some ammo from Privi Partizan for one of my rifles, I have yet to try it. Some 8x56r. Still meaning to take that to the range

I just took mine apart on a whin after seeing this post and watching the sons of guns. Mine had sat since the war as well, but mine was suprisingly clean. I guess my father or grandfather had already cleaned it once before. I just want to get the barrel checked, as even with cleaning still dont see a lot of light through it, before I shoot it.

I have a type 99 as well, and I get 7.7x54 jap for it at Cabelas online. It's usually like $25 for a box of 20. This thing is fun to hunt with! Sorry for the necro
