Looks pretty interesting all right. Guess I got plent of time to watch and catch up till the release.

And not to hijack, but did you watch the Conan trailer that was attached to this? That looks great with Ron Pearlman as a trainer(?) for the young Conan.

Can't. Friggin. Wait. Btw Wyatt I was curious, see what you think, but that was Gordon in the hospital bed right? Seems like this is going to be a pretty dark one as well.

Well, he is the "Dark Knight". ;) J/K. I can't wait. These movies have all been really good.

I can't believe that is the last Batman movie. They are so good. Look at all the James Bond movies. Since I think 1962, there has been a Bond picture. Why kill off a great hero. They need to keep making them. There is still a lot of villians for Batman to get rid of. gearyr

If there is money to be made, this isn't the last. The Harry Potter author just said she was probably going to write another book due to the last movie being so successful. Remember Pirates of the Caribbean? It was supposed to be a trilogy but there is 4 of them now. So many examples.

I think you have to look at quality vs quantity though. These Batman films have surpassed just about everyone's expectations. I think if you keep trying to make then you'll eventually lose that quality. I'm a big Bond fan, but let's face it, not all the Bond films are that great.

I used to hate Daniel Craig as the new Bond but the more I watch them the more I like him.

The only thing I truly didn't care for about this current set of Batman movies, was when Rachel Dawes went from Katie Holmes to Maggie Gyllenhaal. I thought Gyllenhaal was terrible (not to mention she's butt ass ugly), she overacted her part (especially when she was tied to the oil drum before it blew up), call me crazy, but I secretly cheered when her character died at the end of the film, and I'm glad she won't be returning in the new one.

correction, it will be the last Batman movie made by Christopher Nolan. Someone else will do another Batman down the road.

Batman will appear in the film : The Justice League in 2013, which will also be directed by Christopher Nolan and his wife Emma Thomas

Christopher Nolan is also working on Man of Steel, the newest episode in the Superman franchise, and if it's anything like this series of Batman has been, then I think we're in for a real treat.

Would seriously love to see Nolan do a remake of Tombstone...no doubt in my mind that would be one remake that would kick ass.

The Tim Burton directed Batman in 1989 was as good as these IMO. but after the first one, it went down hill, and then it completely went to hell in a hand basket when Joel Schumacher got ahold of them and they lost touch with the true identify of what Batman really was. It bounced from Michael Keaton, to Val Kilmer to George Clooney...then it had Mr. Freeze (awful), Poison Ivy (even worse), that whole series after the first one was just hokey.

I never could stand any of the James Bond movies UNTIL Daniel Craig started playing 007, then they got really good and very interesting. I thought Pierce Brosnan was by far the worst Bond ever.

Schumacher is Satan. Burton Batman was good. Daniel Craig is my favorite Bond. I did like Pierce though. Maybe just love for a fellow Irishman lol

There is no way a sane person can say the Sean Connery and Roger Moore movies were bad. I like Craig as Bond but Quantum of Solace was one of the worst Bond movies ever.

lol, maybe I am insane then. But then again, considering the time period where the movies were made in, the special effects and technology just wasn't there back in the day, so maybe I've become spoiled as movies have evolved, and when I see the older ones, they just don't cut if for me, but then again, to most people on here, I'm just a spring chicken at the age of 31.

Catwoman outfit on Anne Hathaway........AWESOME!!!!!

My first thought when I heard that she was cast in the role.

I was disappointed she didn't make the trailer.

As far as the Batman franchise goes, the first movie was good, and the last two were good. All of the rest were crap.

Even though most people did not like him, I thought Timothy Dalton was a fantastic Bond. He brought a darker and more serious side to the Bond character (more inline to Fleming's Bond) which was refreshing after the long stint of Moore's comedic Bond. I would rank the Bond characters as follows:

Timothy Dalton

Daniel Craig, Sean Connery (tie)

Roger Moore, Pierce Bronsan (tie)

George Lazenby.

I'm excited about the new Batman, as I've enjoyed this new trilogy a lot... i'm also curious if Anne Hathaway is going to turn out to be half the Catwoman that Michelle Pfeiffer was.

As far as the James Bond goes, (in my opinion) Sean Connery was the best Bond.. followed closely by Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Daniel Craig, and Pierce Bronsan.

Just saw the trailer at the theater tonight. I am seriously giddy as hell about seeing the latest & last, Batman movie.

As far as Bond goes, I always thought that there would never be a better Bond than Connery, until Daniel Craig. When I first saw the films, before I read the books, Connery's Bond seemed far more enigmatic, charismatic & believable. Since reading the books & figuring out that Bond is basically just a government sanctioned thug in a suit, I think Craig's portrayal is much more accurate than any of the others.

On a similar vein, Matt Damon as Jason Bourne was awesome, again, until I read the books. Jason Bourne is originally written as a middle aged guy & The Bourne Identity begins in an underground Casino in Japan! (If memory serves.....)

Daniel Craig will never get a thumbs up from me. After he did his first Bond film, he went on record as saying that Bond should have a gay scene in the next film. To me, that is an actor that doesn't understand his character. Screw Daniel Craig (and not in the way that he wants).
