Wow, why doesn't it surprise me that the Political Science majors feel that there should be more gun free zones?

The finance major and engineering major are right of course.

I don't expect the student's to leave their gun in the classroom when they go to other areas

the students ought to be able to shoot who needs shooting

I would love to see something like this in the Daily Helmsman, but it's just not gonna happen . . .

In a way this does relate to the Carry Permit for 18y/olds... since a significant number of college students are under 21 for the first couple years. Of course the professors should be allowed to carry, but it does beg the question whether or not only the Junior, Senior and Graduate classes should be defendable by the students.

Just food for thought.
