Kahr PM 9 CT Grip and Holster

I was going to update a thread I thought I started awhile back but couldn't find it. Here is an update.

I stopped carrying the PM9 a couple years ago. In the pocket, it was just too heavy for my liking. It was just hanging about in the safe doing nothing, which seemed a shame since I like the gun. I thought I would charge it with doing HD duty. No night sights so.....

Put a Crimson Trace Grip on it. Easy to install and CT had a $50 rebate recently. The CT grip gave it a strange feel as it moves the hand down about an 1/8 inch which isn't good on this piece. I put a Pierce extension on the mags, which was a good addition and provides a full grip now.

Now with the CT grip I didn't have a holster for it....still haven't found the ideal one yet, but in the interim I found an DeSantis 29N, IWB for about $30.

Here is the result. I like it. Handles real nice.

Very nifty setup...

But I'm surprised you felt it was too heavy for pocket carry before the laser...I tote one daily for good while now, even with spare mag in a StellarRigs.

Btw, also love the little Smidgen (or Hartsook?) with light combo.

Smidgen it is.

17 ounces loaded was just too much for my front pocket. Its just me.....couldn't keep my pants up, but that's another story for another forum. Once I got to 13 ounce or less I could pocket carry. For me then its a 340 revolver or lightweight semi in .380.

Who did you Kydex?

Mine?

That's from StellarRigs.com.

They now sell them for same price off Kahr site, too, last time I compared.

Nice I have the same setup with the CT laser. I pocket carry mine in a Desantis pocket holster. When I started pocket caring I began purchasing paints with larger pockets like cargos, Truspec mostly.

I'm getting used to the laser. It's different in its activivation methodology from the two CT 405s I have on J Frames. Every night, well almost every night I spend a few minutes working the holster and activating the laser doing a short two room sweep.
