Did some work on my GSG5PK this weekend.

So a few months back, I bought a GSG5PK. I brought it home and immediately decided that I was going to put a side folder on it and SBR it. Then when looking around, I found a couple of other mods for it. First up was putting on a claw mount and my old aimpoint.

After that, I found the SEF lower mod being done and I love the looks of the grip. Its an airsoft part and pretty cheap so I went ahead and bought one and got to work modding it to make it fit. I was really happy with the turnout but the safety looked out of place.

I already knew that I was going to be changing out the safety lever but I thought that this was going to be a really tough project so I was planning on this happening much later. But, I went to a friends shop to borrow his drill press and we ended up using a giant CNC mill to make quick work of all of the mods. It took a few passes but we got the selector to fit perfectly and move between all settings. It fires on E and F and will not fire on S. Its pretty awesome as far as I'm concerned.

Here is a video of me moving the selector between settings. You can hear that it is a very positive click in each position.

That is pretty groovy.

I have been fighting with myself over picking one of these up or not. The choice of a rifle or pistol is what keeps stumping me.

Nice. Let me know how you like the side folder. I put the sliding stock on mine, but have been thinking about the side folder.

MacGuyver, I like the folder alot but I think I'm going to change it up and go with the slider.  The folder is a bit bulky and its already a really bulky and heavy gun.
