Workshop: 'Guns in the Workplace: Where Are We Now?'[/h][h=2][/h]

On July 21, the law firm of Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, PC, will present a labor and employment breakfast briefing entitled "Guns in the Workplace: Where Are We Now?"

The breakfast briefing will focus on recent legal developments regarding a person's rights to carry or store a gun in the workplace.

Rusty Gray, a labor and employment attorney in Baker Donelson's Chattanooga office, will lead the discussion on the increased rights for Tennessee residents to carry guns and the employer's rights to limit or prohibit guns in the workplace.

"Guns in the Workplace: Where Are We Now?" will be held at Baker Donelson's Chattanooga office in Republic Centre at 633 Chestnut Street, Suite 1800, from 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m., with registration beginning at 8:00 a.m. There is no charge for the event, and breakfast will be provided. HR Certification Institute credit has been approved and Continuing Legal Education credit is pending.

This would be interesting to attend. We have a security guard and have a badge we have to use to enter the building so it is really a non issue for me but would be interesting to see what is covered.
