This was posted in another forum, but I thought I would share this here.

Since my bride is out of town, I am left all alone to fend for myself.

Dinner tonight is a 21oz porterhouse steak with farm fresh corn on the cob and french bread.

The strip side come out a perfect medium and the fillet side came out a perfect medium rare after seven minutes on the grill. (note: steak shows a darker color due to my mixing of a very little Worcestershire sauce with the steak juices, and placing it back over the steak as it rested.

Protection comes from my Spikes/Rock River 9mm AR and my Austrian Proofed g19. The knife is a Buck knife autographed to me from Chuck Buck.

Edited to add: Beverage is a nice home brewed porter my buddy makes.

This is a popular thing to do over on ARFCOM. People are always posting their dinner pics for everyone to see and rate.

Good looking steak but your fork is on the wrong side :D

Not only the fork but notice the guns are both turned in such a way that they would very difficult to snatch up quickly. Jeez people, think about this sort of stuff! I mean if you had to grab up the AR quickly, you'd likely knock over your Coke/Captain Morgan into your steak and there's a good chance you'd break the Pink Floyd glass...good luck finding a replacement not to mention the meat would be ruined and then I'd really PO'd!!!

Never really understood the need to take a picture of my dinner with a bunch of guns laying around it. Naked ladies maybe, guns not so much. :screwy:

And the steak is way over cooked! lol. "Knock the horns off, put it on a plate and walk it through a warm room".
