I thought I would post a picture of my first kydex creation. It's still a little tight so I think Im going to use a heat gun around the trigger guard to make it easier to draw. It's .08 kydex.

I like it. I like holsters almost as much as guns, have thought about starting to do some kydex, and leather too. Love knives too, and the sheaths are generally poor.

Hardly looks like a first effort, really, good job.

Looks good. Can you show a view of the edge from maybe the trigger guard area? I'm interested on how the two halves "join" together. Are they heat or solvent bonded? It looks like the area near the slide is just folded over and every where else is two seams, correct?

Yeah, the area near the slide is just folded over but I didn't get the fold to close to the slide. The only think that "join"s it together is the rivet in the bottom. The halves coming apart is how it looses enough tension to come out. It still might have a little to much tension really. I have to hook the folded part on the front of my pocket to get it off. I'll get more pics tomorrow. It was just a first attempt really...not to though out.

Here is my latest creation. I might take a couple more pictures. It's VERY comfortable with my wilderness belt.

I didn't really think of that. I have been wearing it with a undershot between it and my skin. I originally made it as a OWB holster but I need to remake the clips.
