The new Rambo was the best movie I have seen in a long time.

The Brave One, We Own the Night, Death Sentence, and Awake were all really good.

History of Violence would have been good if it had not turned out to be more of a soft core porn film.

Also, I really liked the movie war with Jet Li and Jason Statham.

Wait, please tell me that wasn't the first time that you have seen the boondock saints? :pleased: That is quite possibly the best movie of all time.

I thought Death Sentence was just "ok". The best part of the movie is John Goodman "so whos gonna bleed to death in my trunk today?" and all the references to SAW and DEAD SILENCE. I havent seen awake yet. History of Violence was pretty great...even the porn part :pleased: I would however not recommend seeing Eastern Promises if you cant handle seeing a man in the "buff" fighting for his life ;) Probably the most graphic (nudity/violence) fight scene ever....matter of fact...that scene should have had the same block out censor as Borat lol.

Falling Down is pretty great. I enjoyed fractured also. Anyone seen Doomsday yet?

I saw it yesterday.It is a mix of 28 Days Later,Mad Max,Damnation Alley,Gladiator,and King Arthur.Throw in brains blown out with decapitations severed limbs,squashed heads and bodies.And to top it off a stage show with a human bbq at the end.It is a drama the whole family will enjoy for years to come,sure to be a classic.;) Did I love it,HELL YEAH!!! :pleased:

This thread is rather old so I figured it needed updated. I just got through watching a really good movie, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, which is an adaptation of John le Carre's novel. Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (2011) - IMDb This is was a really good movie. For those that may consider watching it, be warned. This is not the stereotypical James Bond spy movie. There is very little action in it.

Saw the latest Sherlock Holmes movie...very good...edge of the seater... and antique firearm of numerous calibers were prominent

It's not a good movie, but I just watched "Dusk to Dawn" on IFC, uncut. Gotta love the Salma dance.

That's OK.

My brother and I fantasized about going to see The Passion of Christ when it was in the theatres and cheering at all the inappropriate parts.

Just for my buddy, The Rabbi, I know you're not here now, but you're one sick dude sometimes. I'll stop by the shop and tell you personally.

Laughed my butt off when I saw this.

Good movie. The wife read the book prior to the movie. To be honest, this was very graphic. Good movie but don't waste your money on popcorn.

No any good ones...but have seen a bunch of crap movies lately. I don't go to theaters so all I watch are Red Box and Direct TV.

All bad movies, not worth wasting the time:

Contagion

Killer Elite

Final Destination 5

Columbiana

They rank up there with other recent crap movies like Buried. Horrible movie.
