Trying out some cheap grips.

Trying out some el-cheapo grips I found on E-Bay. Made by Radical Concepts in Portland Oregon. ~$15-20 on E-Bay. Very Pachmayr'ish in design, but the rubber feels different. It is a harder material than the Pachmayrs. I haven't shot it yet, but I love the way they feel in the hand. I think I like the look of wood grips better on a 1911, but I wanted to try these out. Not bad considering the price tag.

Not bad...I saw some online the other day that were a combination of rubber and rosewood...I think by Pachmyer, anyway, they looked really nice. I have some rubber Hogues with finger grooves on my Sig carry...but those wood/rubber ones look good enough to make me wanna change, lol. I tried to post a pic, but despite my being able to do it many other times, today I couldn't...

My RIA came with a set of Pachmayr Signature Grips that look just like that. Very nice.

They do look nice but I agree that wood grips just frame a 1911 nicely.
