Quick Reply Hanging

Recommended Posts

David, for the past few days I've noticed "Quick Reply" hang there after the "submit". Usually Windows (IE) will then ask if I want to navigate away from page or not. Most of the time my post fails. Tried "Advanced" once tonight. Worked okay. FYI.

The navigate away message usually is a trap from higher than average security settings. If you put IE into the "default" security it shoud not do that any more (not recommended) or you can find the individual setting to change (warn if navigate across domains or something like that).

Best I remember, I get the "leave page" message on every post I've made since the change, on both XP and Win7 machines, using Firefox 5. See it on Quick Reply and Advanced -- I'll see one posting this one, too, I guess.

-- testing reply using Advanced option

EDIT: testing with edit

EDIT: Yep, confirmed. See it only on Quick Reply, not on Advanced, or with Edit.
