Review 3 rules for safety.

1. Keep all guns pointed in a safe direction.

2. Always keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot.

3. Always keep gun unloaded until ready to shoot.

You pretty much have to break 3 rules at once to hurt someone or yourself.

Sadly it seems like it happens every year with a .22 pistol. What is it about .22 pistols?

I think it happens because a lot of people aren't intimidated by .22's & get careless. Too many people don't look at a .22 as a dangerous round. ANY & ALL guns should be handled with care and respect.
