I have a S&W Sigma. The heavy trigger is no issue for me. I wanted to know if there is a way or kit to shorten the reset on the trigger after every shot. Its almost at full return before it engages to fire the next round.

I've never seen anything on shortening the reset. If you google the manufacturers name followed by the word forum you'll find a site with a child forum for the sigma and sd pistols. I'd search there.

I would say "it's a Sigma". You have a very good, reliable SD gun. There has been much written about the trigger and mods. Also much written about unpredictable results and loss of reliability. I would either keep it the way it is and buy another gun for more 'range work' that you really like, or simply sell the Sigma, put the extra cash for parts and trigger work into the new gun. Overall, I still think for the money, as a SD gun, the Sigma is the best buy.
