Custom Remington 591 5mm

Just finished this one up for a customer of mine. We re-blued it matchless. Fit and finished a stock. We are debating installing a Timney Rem 788 trigger to this action to get rid of the factory crappy one. Best RF I've ever re-done!

Wish I had better picture taking skills to truly showcase this rifle but I think you'll get the idea of how nice it is off of these. My camera also is outdated.

I have a 580. I am looking for a 580/581/590/591 and like to have spare parts in case thy have issues. I drilled and tapped the factory trigger for adjustments. Didnt really like how it worked out so I put it back to factory settings. Almost any tweaking affects the safety's operation, I couldn't apply the safety once I got it to where I liked it. Works fine now with a little fluff and buff. Dolomite

I've heard similar results from others. I opted for the Timney replacement for my 788 instead of the mod.
