Can't beat the SP101 for reliability, durability, or concealability, and I just like the way it shoots. I ankle carried my 2-1/4" out to eat last night in a DeSantis Apache.

I have one of them added to my list trying to find a clean used one for CCW .......

looking at an SP101 it looks like one of the best in the short barrel heavy revolvers

I do want to find an SP101 sometime though, along with a Smith 65, and a 19, and a 27, and a 29, and a 15, and a 64, and a 10, and a 66, and a Colt Python, and a Cobra, and .....................................................................................................

Solid choice, I was torn a few months ago between the DA or SA Rugers however I had to just go with the SA.

I have a friend who has an L frame S&W .357 6" and told me he has taken 40 deer with it. No reason to doubt him because I have seen him shoot both short and long guns and have seen his reloading building. I enjoy watching him hustle long gun shooters into shooting for money. Just like watching a pool hustler go to work in the city.
